Hello hello
Ive been taking capecitabine for the past few months and think im getting the start of the dreaded hand & foot syndrome! Feet have gone very red and a slight burning tingling sensation!
Any advice or tips to ease this?
Thank you and big loves ️
Good morning, Lilimisssunshine.
I am Jamie one of the online champions. I notice your post does not have any replies yet. So hoping with me responding will help it to be noticed again by other members. I see you have joined the chemotherapy forum too, so I am sure other members will soon be along to offer support.
It might also be helpful to add some details to your profile if your happy to, so others can see which cancer you are receiving treatment for and can help others connect with you too.
I am sorry to hear you are getting some side effects from your chemotherapy medications. However, I feel this could be a question you could also ask in ask a nurse forum. I have added the link for you here Ask a Nurse it can take a couple of days to reply.
I would suggest you could contact your chemo nurses, who would also have knowledge of this too and I am sure they have seen this type of issue with other patients.
Hope this helps and please let us know if you need anything else.
Take care,
Jamie.
