Three weeks next Monday Tom had a glioblastoma grade 4 IDH negative totally removed from brain. Obviously, the tumour will be having none of that and possibly re inventing itself. Starts 6 weeks of radiation and chemo in two weeks. Oncologist grimly told us without even seeing how he will respond to treatment he can expect to die in 12 or 18 months. Give or take a couple of months either side. From yesterday he has regained almost all his pre surgery ability’s. apart from loss of site in peripheral right eye. But bless him he is back to me. We are booking our wedding and making plans. I’m enjoying this normal time . It often feels like a dream, it’s not true. He isn’t dying. I’m loving this precious time we have
