Just need to vent. My husband has been in hospital now for 2 weeks. Went in with a tummy bug, then problem with fluid retention and blood pressure, then they wouldn't let him out as mobility notood so physios working on him, then constipated so given laxatives, now he's 'going ' again but blood pressure has dropped again. Feel like we're bouncing from one thing to another. Feel like he's never coming home
. He's so down. Not sure how much more we can take.
Hi , I feel for you; those times when everything piles up feel like they'll never end. I'm not surprised he's down. All you can do is be there for him. Hang in there, you will get through it but I do understand what it feels like. How are you managing at home? I know you have a lot to cope with; is there anyone who can help to lighten the load? I know it sounds trite, but are you looking after yourself? It's so easy to forget about our own health in the tough times and two weeks is along time to manage on your own with visiting as well. I hope you get some good news soon.
Thinking of you,
LoobyLou
