My beautiful and unique man passed after a short battle with lung cancer. I loved him so much my heart is brokenI feel as though I should be coping better bcos of the kids who are grown up. Last night was a bad night it's so lonely and I miss him so much. I want him here even if he's I'll. I know that's selfish but it's so hard after 56 years together.

    So, so painful.  Hello and 56 years together is lifetime.  There are no words for the pain. Your pain is yours with no should be or ought to's.  Please find some virtual company here to help with the loneliness.

    Hi NellieJ. You’re right there’s no words. I’ve had a lot of support from loved ones and life long friends who are sad too some of whom are widowed. It’s such a personal journey though. I will try to take solace from the group. Thank you. 

Help us do whatever it takes, because we’ve never been needed more.
