My 2nd cycle was delayed a week because my bloods hadn’t recovered enough, which apparently is quite common. I received an injection to boost my Bloods last week and I successfully started my 2nd cycle yesterday.

11 December and looking forward to Christmas. Quick GP visit to sort out this" water infection?". Fast forward just 4 weeks and Im now very familiar with terms like MRI scan, T3a malignant prostate carcinoma , biopsy(what a nightmare) . Now waiting for a bone scan cos of back and hip pain and the results of the biopsy to see how aggressive the little blighter is . How quickly life changes. Still one positve is that the consultant said that it will be a long road to which I replied " I flipping well...

Its hard to reflect on this cold dreary January day without thinking...ah ye this was week two of different symptoms last year.....little did I know that an alien was already formed and growing within the lining of my uterus....i downloaded an app called ovuview in 2016 as I realised things had changed and because of the sheer heaviness of my period I had to plan ahead for life events for obvious reasons....by March it was count the days I didnt bleed - 21 days was the longest run....

I am still shocked that I have joined a Macmillan online community, just 10 days ago I was living a normal life doing normal things unaware that I even had cancer. I had surgery booked for a radical hysterectomy due to post menopausal bleeding. I even scoffed at this suggestion as I haven't even had my menopause, I was convinced this was a waste of nhs money but as I no longer needed my reproduction system and I had had problems in the past I would have this surgery. This is partly just a visual record of my recovery after Mohs surgery to remove a BCC on the side of my nose. I found it really helpful to read a similar blog by Indie15 on this site, though her surgery was on the bridge of her nose.
After not being terribly well-prepared for the surgery beforehand (they don't know what they're going to do until the day), it's been a bit of a steep learning curve.

Have not blogged for a couple of days. Things are betier than I expected.
I was active yesterday and went shopping with my husband. I watched carefully for people around me, keeping a distance. Did not touch things like friuits, vegetables, meats. Went down several aisles, showing my husband where to find certain items should I run out accidentally of meds, etc.
Tired and weak, but it was good therapy.
I must get something to prop myself up a bit in bed at night. I wake up...
