This was just a normal working day and my mum had been called back to the Breast Clinic. I said that I would go with her, but there was nothing to worry about. I guess we all react to BEP chemo differently, based on our biological make-up, age and general health. For me it was the stuff around the chemo that I could have andled better, as the chemo itself was ok.

I finished my last dose of chemo a week and a half ago, had my CT scan last Monday and my results today.
The lymph node has shrunk from 2016cm^3 to just 64cm^3, that's an astonishing 97% shrinkage, and the doctor expects it to continue to shtink for 6~8 weeks after the last chemo dose, so fingers crossed it keeps going and gets down to a normal lymph node + scar tissue size, anything under 10cm^3 would be good. Today was a beautiful day.
Mumsy, Gordy, Alex (his daughter), Zainy (his grandson) and Dougy (our brother) went mooching around the lovely little villages just outside Scarborough.
Mumsy went on a memory trip in Snainton which is where here brothers and sister were evacuated to during the war. She wasn't evacuated as she was just a baby and families would not take babies. The we went to Thornton le Vale for lunch and had a little walk around visiting a garage/museum which renovates and auctions...
Well it has been 6 weeks (yesterday) since I had my ileostomy reversed and currently there is not much change.
Throughout the whole of this cancer experience I have NEVER felt as low or sad as I have at times during this 6 weeks. My poor husband has had to put up with floods of frustrated tears and I have felt really low. Luckily these sessions don't last long but when they are happening it is horrible.
As a rule I tend to get on top of things and chose to be positive and deal with things well...
