…..would be proud of me. My mouth and throat are a sanctuary it seems for thrush. Ok, so maybe Mr Oddie wouldn’t be that impressed as it’s not the feathered variety of thrush but you can’t please all of the people all of the time! I actually thought I was doing quite well clearing them out of the nesting spot at the back of my throat but Dr Tinkerbell said otherwise and Tuesday’s chemo was postponed. Did you notice that it was Dr Tink’ and not Dr Socks I saw...
Been just over a year since I kicked the cisplatin habit. Can honestly say that not one part of me got on with it in any way - but it can sure kick some serious cancer butt.
Towards the back end of last year I was able to be objective about things - all I can say now is let that WMD do it's thing. I originally came on here last year when my Dad was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer with secondaries in the peritoneum(spelling not a strong point) I didn't want to post then as I knew he may look on here for information and didn't want him reading about how desperately frightened I was for him.
Now I don't have that problem any more as he can no longer get out of bed and my once active, amazing dad is entering the final stages of his fight against cancer - A fight he is losing but still fighting...
what a week, errol has been in hospital feeling quite poorly again very confused, ct scan on the brain was clear and we were so happy , but that didnt last long cause then we were told the comparason ct scan was not good more mets on his liver, some had stayed the same but more had increased in size so sinitib is not working so advised to stop , that was such a shock for errol he really thought that with all the side effects it should be working, this is the first time he cried ( really cried) and...
