hello to all!!! back from hospital after having that annoying little port removed, feel a bit sore like i've been kicked in the ribs but i am sure it will pass, weird seeing the consultant again but she is very friendly, nice to be awake for surgery this time, she had terrible hiccups which made me laugh!!!! hugs to allxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
just to reasure any "young" cancer patient that there is a huge light at the end of the tunnel!! my appearance has totally changed after a mastectomy & chemo ( long brown hair all gone!!) i now am waiting for reconstruction to level everything out and have a fond affilliation with my chicken fillet ( does the job!! ) i refused to wear a wig and after having my head completely shaved in march i am now sporting a chic pixie…
having just joined the community about 2 hours ago, i find it fascinating!! havnt a clue what to do but determined to succeed! watch this space for progress,, fingers crossed!!!
