Morning. I recently joined the group and have decided to add my story. I was diagnosed 26 Oct 17 with TNBC with activity in the lymph nodes. I started FEC-T 24 Nov but after 2 courses the lump had not shrunk. I was changed to T sooner at chemo3 but this was too strong my neutrophil count which was very low.
I just started a different cocktail of weekly Paclitaxol with Carboplatin to be added in every 3 weeks. I had both on Friday 26 Jan. I have felt well over the weekend.

Well, that went better than expected!!! I am having EC-T chemo.
Nurses in these places are just fantastic!!!! Full praise to all of them up and down the country having to sit and listen to our woes and worries and probably hearing the same thing every day!!
The lovely nurse talked through everything she was doing to me and DH. It just makes these experiences so much better if you have happy people around you.

I was diagnosed last August 2017 when I got called back for another mammogram. Wasn’t unduly concerned and I had no lump that I could feel and thought it was probably just routine. DH went with me and we spent the best part of the morning at the Luton/Dunstable Breast Clinic. I cannot thank or praise these nurses and doctors there enough. The doctor kept ordering more mammograms as she could see a lump from one angle and then not at another!! Finally said there was a lump and had biopsies on lump...

So it’s janu 24 2018 around 11:20pm. I’m laying in the hospital bed at Rush hospital in Chicago. I had a busy day and thought this would be a great way to write everything down.
I arrived around 9am and got brought to my very nice large room. My bed is super comfortable and there is a open couch in here for visitors who wanna spend the night, a lovely lounging chair that is near the window that looks out to the whole entire down town. 2. Just tested positive for first time ever for high risk hpv
3. Colpo came back CIN2/3. Will be having LEEP procedure next week
