I am a journalist writing on health matters and currently researching a story about the role of the district nurse in end of life care. I would be very interested in members' experiences of district nurse care, whether as patient or relative/carer.
My Beautiful sister gave birth to the most adorable baby girl.
Jessica May was born at 4.40am weighing 7lb.
My Dad would have absolutely loved her to pieces. I will tell her everything about him when she is older so she knows just how fabulous her Grandad was.

at long last i've managed to post a pic onto my profile, it was our wedding day 27 06 2009, i'd give anything to have nigel still looking like that now, sadly he he is a shadow of his former self and it breaks my heart....
HI, is there anyone out their in Mac Land that has had experience of this type of chemotherapy. My husband is about to have it next Tuesday and wants to know what if anything to expect. All views and opinions will be greatly received.

Fownd owt today that the rt I hav been havin on my back to tayk away the presha has worked and the presha is much less and my spiynal cord is no longa been compressed. Good news.
Also, my consultant thinks he can get me referred to St Barts to start the process of asking for gamma treetment. He says they will want me for shaw as i am one of a kind
He also wants me to think abowt chemo. He thinks it will help the groin tumas, and tayk them down. But I am not shaw bowt chemo, the one he wans to giv...
Well after a vist to the hosp Doc last week we have learnt that Alan's T13 of his spine is collapsing due to a soft tissue mass .
So we now wait to see if he has to go to Orthopaedic Hosp or to see about RT again .He may have to have a Biopsy done..
so as always its the waiting game, to know where we go from here.
Hoping and praying things will get sorted re treatment for him .
