Hi all, I have to confess I haven't written for a while since my Mum was diagnosed with Non Hodgkinsons two years ago. We have recently found out she has a second cancer now in her breast so she is going in for surgery on Friday then following up with radiotherapy. I have to say I am absolutely petrified about the whole thing. She is incredibly strong but it has also really affected my Dad as all of a sudden there is something in life he has no control over. In the evening she showered on her own, although she was very tired afterwards. She had morphine and a nebuliser before she went to bed, and slept pretty well, taking morphine at about 3 and a nebuliser when she woke up at 6.

A couple of weeks ago the latest scan showed that everything is still good - and I won't need another scan until December.
So why do I feel so desperate? I keep wanting to...
