Hi,
I realise that this is pretty personal and may be too personal to ask, so I understand if no-one feels able to respond to this post, I promise not to be offended.
I am wondering about my blood loss and if it is heavy or average for people with womb cancer.
I am using 4 layers of sanitary pads including maternity size which is the biggest I can get. I have a Mirena device fitted but it isnt controlling the bleeding. Im passing clots up to 6 inches long and half inch thick. Tonight's was the size of a smallish golf ball. Gushing from me when I walk or stand up, going through 2 packs of baby wipes a week.
Any ideas?
Hi,
Was anaemic Dec/Jan, its a rotten feeling. Apparently not now, but have requested repeat blood tests to check. That's 27 days bleeding now on the trot, have asked Consultants sec to email him and let him know.
Thanks for sharing some of your experience with me, much appreciated.

Hi I was like that in my menopause too. It went on for months and months and sadly I didn't do anything about it because I was too scared. I did become anaemic and was given iron tablets by the GP. Six years after my menopause finally ended, I was diagnosed with cancer. I do sometimes wonder if I had done something about the excessive bleeding at the time things might have ended up differently. Have you gone through the menopause yet? My actual cancer symptoms six years later where tiny spots of pink now and then and eventually what was like a very light period for one day.
Hugs, Lesley xx
