Hello everyone. Diagnosed with endometrial cancer this morning following biopsy results. Internal exam today also found something on my cervix had this biopsies today. MRI tomorrow.
Hi Shell,
Sorry you find yourself here. But pleased to hear they are still sorting some cancer patients out!!
When I was in my 20's they found something on my cervix. They cauterized it, which seemed to solve that problem. However, it resulted in the loss of two pregnancies, making the neck of the womb too weak to hold a baby. When I had my hysterectomy for womb cancer 50 years later i had to explain the mess on the cervix. (both babies I carried were stitched in after 12 weeks). The consultant said they wouldn't cauterize it these days, so I am quite intrigued to know what they do. I had more urgent matters on my mind at the time and didn't ask!!!
I've been on this forum for two years now and have only met one other person with this problem. All the best for tomorrow. I found it very noisy!! xxxxx
Hope that you are feeling better now Shell56, that’s another bit over, hoping for the best results for you and then you can see a way forward. I found the wait in between quite hard and tried to keep busy with things that I enjoyed, although I did a fair bit of googling too.
All the best

The waiting is for a lot of people the worse because your mind is all over the place, when a plan of action sort of speak is happening you feel better for it, at least your mind knows something is being done.

Yes mind all over the place. Had my mri yesterday nurse will ring me next thursday with results. Depending on results is to where I have hysterectomy. Was told they are not doing keyhole surgery due to virus and reluctant to do general anaesthetic agin due to a virus so probably be under spinal
