The small area of my wound that was being a nuisance and last week decided to bleed, has now healed. The skin around it is a bit tender and red but the nurse has decided to leave it without a dressing as that could well be the cause of the tenderness due to my allergies! She has given me more dressings to use when I have a bath or if it decides to be difficult again. Phew. Only taken 6.5 weeks to settle.
Now waiting for final pains to subside enough for me to feel comfortable driving.
