Bleeding after using a dilator

Hi, were you told to use it four times a week? I’m trying to remember but I think I only did twice a week. By all means ask your CNS if the brachy nurse can give you a call, but I’d suggest going down a size for now and using more lube on the tip especially.

The advice from my CNS was to use it every other day to begin with and that sometimes some light bleeding can happen. She said to email her if I had any bleeding for reassurance. 

Alternatively why not give the Support Line a call and talk with one of the nurses.

Thank you for your reply. I can't remember what she had told me to do so I googled it.

I stopped for a couple of days and used the size three but more lube. It was okay. 

Did you have yellow discharge after the brachytherapy treatment? I had yellow discharge since the first treatment. I did tell the brachytherapy nurse about it. She said I can use daily pads but I forgot to ask her how long it will last. It may have reappeared after I started the dilator. I really don't know.  The smell is okay. 

Hi Puffin, this is the same with me. I had 3 brachytherapy, used the dilator after 4 weeks and I bled a little. I then left it for a week went down to the 2nd size and have had no bleeding since. I also have a yellowish discharge. I do believe that this is normal and hopefully will go back to normal soon.
