Having technical issues again!

Thank you dreamthief. Hopefully it will sort itself out..it may well be me as I'm not computer literate. My son thinks it's a miracle that I remember where the on button is every time let alone anything else.! I love your lamb picture..just about sums it up! Hi lamb, have you checked that you are logged in and not just viewing as a guest when you try to like? I've noticed that sometimes I get logged out even when I have ticked the remain logged in button. When that happens the like option disappears until I log back in.

Are you still having technical difficulties ? 

Yes I am. I'm sure it's me doing something wrong somewhere. I'm afraid it doesn't take very long to get me riled where computers are concerned...It's a source of constant amusement at work amongst t younger members of staff! Anyway Rachel is on the case at the community if I've managed to e mail her correctly and that hasn't ended up somewhere else or deleted.! And as for that flipping  lamb.. It's been on its best behaviour ever since. I'm sure these things know when I'm either in a hurry or on a short fuse then they strike just to make me mad! Teddys mum. I don't know to be hone..I'll have to pay more attention to what I am doing . Thanks for your advice because that may be the problem. I'm afraid once these things rattle me and somebody offers a solution my mind goes blanand I get to the point of almost throwing it out of the window..kind of "whaaat..where's that then..I don't know..aargh...stupid bloody machine..what's wrong with a pen and paper..and so on" . But I not going to let it beat me..It's only a machine after all and we are the more superior being aren't we? (I wonder about that sometimes too..feels like we are being taken over!) Still thank you eveone for your help. I shall try all the suggestions and let you know. In the meantime watch this space (and the lamb!) .  Which is still up to its tricks...naughty corner now!

Where's the remain logged in button? I'm not ticking anything I think?( Good job my son isn't here..hate to think what he would say about this! )

When you log in, there's a little box you can put a tick into that says 'remember me'. If you tick it then log in, it's supposed to keep you logged in. However like lots of things on the site, it's broken. So you still get randomly logged out.

The easy way to check if you're logged in while looking at the site, look up to the top right and see if your username and profile picture are showing. If they are, you're logged in and 'like' should work fine. If there's nothing, then you'll need to log in before things will work, ish. Lol

I'm logging in at the beginning with my e mail and password and pressing log in. Is that it? I do that all the time but is there anything else I should be doing? I use a tablet by the way...think I'm on my way to taking a tablet as well at this rate. Grrrrr.

See the little box, badly, circled in purple? Tick that before you press Login. It'll make logging in faster and hopefully mean you need to log in less.
