Hi
had my hysteroscopy today and the dr said she saw something abnormal. Even though she said that the biopsy could come back clear , it came across that she doesn’t think it will. I just had a feeling all the way through this whole process that this would be the outcome so now im hoping that because my ovarian cancer blood test came back normal, that the suspected cancer hasn’t spread and can be treated .
Hi Scotkb You're understandably worried by what the doctor said, but yes the biopsy could come back clear. Waiting is hard but try to hold on to the positive thing if it is womb cancer, it is highly treatable if caught early and often a hysterectomy is all that's needed. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your results. Try to keep busy if you can and keep doing the things you enjoy while you wait as it can help. I'd also say try not to second guess anything. Sending you a gentle hug. Please let us know the outcome x
Hi there I’m waiting on my op for a hysteroscopy, d and c and biopsy. I’m in a lot of pain in my pelvic and lower back area. My doc says I’m on the strongest painkillers she can give me. I was wondering if any of yous ladies have experienced the pain and how long did you have to wait for your op. I had my pre op over two weeks ago.
Hi all smiles,
I had bad pain that came and went in cycles before my op, like my womb was contracting and I was being stabbed on the inside, it was adenomyosis causing the pain, it's the worst pain I've experienced, it's thankfully gone since my hysterectomy. I waited a week or two for my hysteroscopy but I was given a cancellation with another doctor, it seems to vary by area. You could ask to be put on the short notice / cancellation list.
I hope that you don't have to wait much longer

Hey there Aria,
thanks so much for getting back to me. I phoned the hospital after reading your message and they have put me in the cancellation list. Thank you so much for the advice. The hosp said that they think I’ll have been done by this time next month.
Just feel quite helpless not knowing what’s going on with me. Hope you are keeping better now xxx
Hey all smiles,
im good, my hysterectomy was August 2017, so with the exception of surgical menopause, I'm back to normal. I'm glad that you got onto the cancellation list, it might help speed things along. Waiting is the pits, I find mindfulness videos from you tube helpful to get me to sleep, the deep breathing relaxes me. I went to my doctor in February and was diagnosed in June, so it does seem to take time to get a diagnosis unfortunately, and varies by individual and area.
lots of love
