Hi here i am again dr says im peri menopausal and have pcos recently she sent me for a transcaginal and pelvic ultrasound on tuesday and today the dr surgery rang me because the dr wants to see me but said it wasnt urgent ..but im.scared i stupidly looked at my results online and now fearing cancer
Here is what it said
have seen a bit of the report and it says i have 2 simpme cysts on one ovary and 4 simple cysts on the other ..also said no free fluid or adenxal lesions seen .my endometrial lining is 14mm and i have several small cystic spaces ..is this indicative of cancer .or related to my pcos
Should i be concerned scared stiff .
I have for a while.though adenmyosis so not sure if this

Im not a medic so can't comment on your results, you could call the Macmillan helpline and ask to speak to a nurse before 8pm, they should be able to help, or give your gp a call tomorrow.
id take comfort from them saying it's not urgent, I had lots of cysts on my ovaries and they were non cancerous. A thickened endometrial lining (womb lining) can be caused by non cancerous things too, the stats say 90% of people who have a womb biopsy get the all clear.
