My mom has been suggested to join a clinical trial at The Royal Marsden hospital.
stage 4 endometrial cancer not responded to chemo
anyone else had experience of this ????
what to expect ????
Hi, Sorry you find yourself here.
I think is the best person to answer this, so I have tagged her.
All I know is that they try different drugs and different methods to hopefully treat the person, and therefore benefit future generations. My husband had throat cancer 13 years ago, and was only the second person to have laser surgery at that hospital. Apparently it is now standard practice. It seemed very scarey at the time, but we are both glad he did it.
