Good morning! Well today is the day. I am going in about 3 hours for my hysteroscopy in my gyn's office. I have a polyp (benign) that has been causing bleeding and a thick lining. Dr wants to check everything out to be sure nothing else is going on. I presented with bleeding after 16 months with no period. I am 49. At the first appt. my Dr did a vaginal ultrasound and an endometrial biopsy. It was a polyp. Please say a prayer or good thought for me around 2 pm Eastern time. I am in Florida. Thanks!!
Good morning! Yes everything went well yesterday for me with the hysteroscopy. I had a large polyp removed and some other tissue samples just to be safe. I had an endometrial biopsy of the polyp and it was benign. However , until I get the final full pathology report then I will feel better. I just had a local and felt no pain whatsoever. Just some very mild cramping at the end. I also took a xanax to take the edge off and not be so anxious and 800 mg of ibuprofin. HOpe all goes as well for you !
