Hi, I have just had a phone call from consultants secretary, hysterectomy and BSO brought forward to next Friday 5th August not sure how I feel about it yet....
Hi Choclab, good to hear you're back home and all went well. Take it easy, no lifting anything heavier than a teacup and take short walks when you can.
Gentle hugs, Barb xx

Hi Mavis
Im pleased that you managed to get some results, but lke you said they do have to be interpreted by the MDT. Try not to read too much into the enlarged lymph nodes, mine were enlarged also which in then end turned out to be caused by an infection.
All the very best for next Thursday.

Hi ChocLab that all sounds positive, I think 17% keeps it at a stage 1 stage 2 if it's over 50%, I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will put me right, next Thursday! Not too long to wait xx
Hi everyone,
Glad you’re back home Choclab and hope you’re not in too much pain x
Thanks everyone for your comments, I decided to ring the CNS and go through my results again, specifically re lymph nodes. When I spoke to her yesterday I’d taken a gabapentin that GP has swapped me too to replace HRT and it makes me feel like I’ve had a couple of pints for an hour or two afterwards so thought best to check and write it down.
She said my womb lining is 12 mm and shows differences but no evidence of invasion and I have a fibroid so basically very early stage.
She said that I have prominent lymph nodes, non specific in nature in my groin and pelvic wall and that they need further exploration which will be discussed at Monday’s MDT and she’ll ring me straight after the meeting.
I feel this is good news overall and I hope everyone else is having a good day
