What are peoples views on active surveillance, its one of the options of treatments I've been seriously considering rather than having it removed as my gleesons score is 6?

I was on AS for four years between 2013-2017. I then had Radiotherapy as tumour was edging the border.
So AS. is Ok if PSA and Gleeson on the low side and tumour not too large or near the capsule edge.
Important to monitor with PSA 3 or :6 monthly and MRI yearly to show if tumour has got larger.

On active surveillance you may be able to wait until there are better treatments such as immunotherapy, mRNA vaccines, proton beam.
