Hi I had radiotherapy back in February I've had one PSA test which was good six weeks after can anyone tell me when my next one is about due please thanks
Hi,
I had my second PSA at 6 months post radiotherapy the next 6 months later and then went on yearly PSA tests. Check with your cancer centre. You can get the PSA test done by your GP who will send it on to your consultant - though whether or not you will see your consultant for a 6 monthly check at the moment is another matter they may offer you a telephone consultation depending on how your hospital is working with the C19 restrictions.
All the best.

I had one six weeks after finishing RT then got the results from an Oncologist who gave me the Phlebotomy form for the Doctor to be had after six months. On the last occasion I rang the Macmillan Nurse at the Urology department and she arranged to send me a Blood test request envelope so i could have the test at my GP's. So it might be worth while contacting your local Urology Dept nurse.
And good luck with your results. Regards Reg
