The immunotherapy treatment I’ve been having has caused my hair to become brittle and dry which easily break. My appointment is tomorrow, I’ve never had really short hair but needs must, just feeling a little nervous about it. I’m sure it will be fine, just needed to say it out loud.
Hi Blaine,
I am very sorry to hear that your hair is suffering due to your treatment. I had my hair cut very short when it started falling out during chemotherapy. Two stages, mid-back to shoulder-length and then shoulder-length to a very military cut.
I quite liked it ... until it all fell out.
It is long again now and that is how I prefer it but truly short hair was not too hard to accept. No hair at all was very hard for me but short hair was fine.
I hope your treatment goes as well as possible and that you will be able to grow your hair again soon ... if you don't take a liking to short hair in the meantime!
Take care
Miranda
