I think a lot will depend on the location of the wound. I had WLE on my back with the SLNB under my arm and was originally told not to exercise for six weeks. When I went to get the stitches out 10 days later I asked the nurse when I could start exercising again. she said as long as I wasn’t doing anything that didn’t involve repetitive arm movements I.e lifting weights, boxercise etc I should be ok to start doing light exercise that wouldn’t put any pressure on the wound or do anything that could make it open back up. But I am no expert and this is only my experience. I would check in with your nurse and take their guidance they will know best.
