Hi, 6 years after treatment ended my husband has been discharged today
Really mixed feelings - it's great, in the early days you can only wish for today. On the other hand the comfort blanket of regular check ups is gone
We are so thankful to our oncologist and ENT consultant and their teams for their skill and for always making time to listen and answer questions even if the clinic was running behind
To anyone just starting out, it's not easy and there will be scares along the way but things get better
Finally, a massive thankyou to Mike (we're thinking of you), Chris and Josie who were with us at the start when I didn't know who to turn to
