I feel a bit of a fraud for getting this as I've not be hugely active on here for several weeks due to medical stuff (not cancer or covid related fortunately); and I actually said in the interview that there are many, many members of the community that pretty much do the "champs" role without the badge, but it wasn't included in the article. Certainly in our group there are many that fit into that category but I won't name names in case I forget someone and we all know who they are anyway.
All that said I just thought I'd share this with you all, personally I think the award could easily have been given to the whole community!

What a great article Mike , this is why you deserve the role as a community champ plus the award, i remember when i first joined and together with all the other people who contribute to the head and neck group it has turned into a friendly informative group. It certainly helps to have you on board as a co-champ with your writing skills and the way you put points across, im slowly learning from you in that department. We are all champs in our own ways. All the best.

Lynne and I are being interviewed on BBC Radio Devon tomorrow morning at 11:38 (ish) so if you can find it on BBC sounds I'll try to overcome nerves and put the odd sentence together. Like little-fi suggests the award should be for the whole community and I'll try to put that across. 180,000 registered members and 1,000 new every month in the Covid era.
Wish me luck.
