Hi Everybody!
So today was the appointment for husbands biopsy results following inconclusive PET following radiotherapy, and YES there was no sign of cancer - post radio inflammation only. Now on 4-6 weekly checks. Such a huge relief we can't quite believe it! I would like to thank all who have given such good support on this forum, it has made things bearable. If we can help anyone newly diagnosed with tonsil/lymph cancer please ask. Onwards and upwards now and getting our old life back. OH did try a little champagne daughter brought round but it burned his throat, beer very tolerable though so that's a good start! Thank you again all! Xx B
This is great news, so pleased for you all, I cannot drink wine or champagne without out it stinging my mouth and found real ales were a lot easier . Wishing you all the best for the future, cheers to your husband. Take care.

Impressed re beer not a big drinker before diagnosis ,maybe 2/3 drinks a year now no way anything alcoholic can go near my throat.Have tries the odd sip of hubbies drink but min it hits my mouth it isn’t going anywhere else, So it’s soda water for me.
once again congratulations onwards and upwards
