So been a while since I've written on here, We've had numerous appointments, Chemo round 1 delayed as sister had to have several teeth removed... BUT she's completed round 1 of aggressive Chemo and god has she done well.... tiredness, Chemo brain , sore aching bones and ringing in ears... but all nothing that she and the consultant cant work with/tweak medications. Shes been a star so proud of her.
PET scan picked up something on liver and in back bone but at present we cant be 100% sure if its spread, so shes now being treated incurable and gone from 3 sessions to 6. Another PET scan after session 3 and review early September..... my sister and family remain positive. Visibly her neck mass has reduced in size after 1 session we were amazed.
Session 2 starts Monday so we see how she's copes this time as the Chemo builds up in your system over time... one thing I know is my sister is a fighter and a strong woman...words can not describe the love I have for her... there is no life without her and its not an option we will fight this horrid disease...
Keeping positive, will keep us strong... xx
Thanks for the update; bit of a mixture of good news and some less so really. Brilliant she's strong and plainly has solid support and love to help her through, all important that! Wishing you both all the best, be thinking of you.
