Well had my appointment at Marston Wednesday.

Saw consultant and anaesthetist , anaesthetist finding out from Brompton advice re op as I have a chronic lung conditon.

Then got to decide if having op,I have a very low immune system due to my meds, chronic lung conditon, very low pain threshold too.

I take a very long time to heal.

Risk of not getting through op,then infections, slow healing etc.

If don't have op,then that's it with the cancer.

So got to make a decision.

  • God what a choice! It’s something we all have thought about. Quality vs Quantity  I can only  imagine how you feel. All I can say is that you’re obviously armed with info on both scenarios and the choice must be yours without pressure. I hope you find the peace and resilience to make the right one for you.
Thinking of you. God bless. Xxx

Thanks very much for your advice x

  • Hi Mummy 13 , can only  agree with Dani , involve your family but at end of day the decision is yours, not one I would like to face ,but you’ve come this far, plus am sure with your underlying health conditions you will be used to adversity. Spend some quality time this weekend and thank you for letting us all know.

Keep in touch as and when you feel able to,
