I did wonder about bank holidays and treatment, however, I’m due to start my CRT on Monday 6th April which is Easter Monday. 

If that’s your start date then that’s when you start. In my recollection weekends are routinely missed out but accommodation made when either Christmas Day or Easter Sunday (News Years day in Scotland) fall on a weekday

Ah, I stand corrected about New Year’s Day. 

My hubby had Christmas off,but he had a couple of double sessions to make up,he got treated at Clatterbridge Liverpool. I wonder if each trust has got their own ways. All the best, try not to panic,I am sure your medical team knows what's best for him. Fellow wife Mel x

M oncologist told me that they did do that at Swansea if there was no alternative. The department didn’t advertise it because in the past some patients had bunked off for a day off when they realised it would be made up.

Hi yes my last week of treatment was August bank holiday so  I had the previous week 6 treatments. I went in on the Saturday morning was quite surreal as the hospital a( Leeds cancer centre) hardly  anyone there  and the car park was empty that was a rariity
