Iris melanoma

I'm sorry to read that your were recently diagnosed with an iris melanoma and that after proton beam therapy you are having problems with your eye.

My melanoma was a skin one so I don't have any direct experience to relate I'm afraid. I assume that your hospital team are aware of the problems you are experiencing?

I'm tagging and into my reply as they have been having proton beam therapy. I'm hoping they might be able to pop on and tell you about their experiences.

Hi Shelly , I had treatment the first week in March , my eye strangely looks a lot smaller than the other one since having this but think that was from swelling , it still looks puffy and times and sometimes gets very sore and irritable even with drops , I’ve also noticed that when I tired it seems like it’s flickering a little . Didn’t lose eyelashes tho .  I would add a picture but not sure if you can on here .
