In Feb 2018 I became one of the relatively few men to contact Breast Cancer. I had a Mastectomy, 6 courses of FEC and then onto Tamoxafen.
Now 2 years later I have become 1 of the even fewer men to be diagnosed with Secondaty Breast Cancer of the bone.
  • Hello, firstly sorry that you have had to join the club no one wants to be a part of.

It must be harder for you as well, rather than genderise it (I know that is not a word but hope you know what I mean).  A am sure a lot people will be on the same treatment as you and will be able to share their experiences.  I was diagnosed stage 4, in April 2019 - first time diagnosis, secondary in by bones.  I have not had mastectomy nor IV chemo.  I am on oral Chemo and monthly bone infusion.  Within the Secondary Breast cancer group, please look up Positive Stories there are a few on there which I hope you find useful and helpful.

I don't know when you was diagnosed with secondary in the Bone, I do know it  is a big shock and takes time to get your head around it.  I can't say accept because I am still so angry.  I hope you have support

    Take care

    Morning

Re; Secondary bone cancer - are you having anything else besides the Tamoxifen for this ?  As I'm sure anyone else on the same meds or treatment would reply if you have any questions.

This will 'bump' your post too, G n' J
