I’m in two minds whether or not to ask for my life expectancy at my oncology appointment. Any thoughts?
I understand that. Would your decision be different if you were told 7 years instead of 37 years? If your decision will be the same regardless, then knowing wont change your approach. However, if your decision will be different if you were told, then yes, ask but be prepared for a difficult conversation and also bear in mind that the science is playing catch up.
