Just been diagnosed with lungs mets and waiting to see oncologist next week hopefully for some treatment options . I had breast cancer two and half years ago and I really thought I was doing ok so I am really worried about what happens next, any advice very welcome
Hi,
i know how you feel, it’s huge shock isn’t it and a lot to come to terms with. But there are so many treatment options these days, I’m sure they’ll find the right one for you. I’m 18 months into SBC (secondary breast cancer) diagnosis and have been doing great on the treatment up to now. My advice would be: don’t do too much research at this point - it’s too overwhelming; talk to family and friends if you can, they’ll want to help. Not much else I can say I’m afraid but I wish you all the best. Please keep us updated.
