Her positive with small lung mets. After having kadcyla mets and breast tumour significantly shrunk. So that was good but because of the treatment I have low heart function which is currently being treated . I have been off treatment since my last one August , because of having to get a,sigmondoscopy. I realise I am lucky with tumour shrinkage but still worried about being off treatment. I have mentioned how I feel to bcn she said that the reduction was good and to go by that. Has anyone else had this experience and was an alternative treatment found. I am getting scan before I see oncologist in two week s. Very anxious once again.
Hi and a very warm welcome to the online community
It's natural to be worried when you're not having active treatment for your cancer. I can't help with your question, as I haven't been in this situation, but I noticed that you hadn't had any response yet. By replying to you it will 'bump' your post back to the top of the page where it'll be more easily seen.
I'm also tagging this group's Community Champions and GRANNY59 into my reply in case they can help further.

Hi,
I also have lung mets, and have been off treatment since November because of a second bad reaction to immunotherapy. Before that, my last treatment had been early September.
I was due to start a new trial in January, but developed a new problem at the last minute. That problem is ongoing, and, despite innumerable tests, we're no nearer a resolution. I've had 2 hospital admissions and 2 emergency treatments since then.
I can't move forward with any treatment until my current problem is stabilised, and a trial with an unknown drug may not be advisable now anyway.
My team are very good about keeping up with scans, though, so I know that though the mets are growing, the growth is slow. So that's something.
Good luck with your scan, which must be due about now. Hope you get good news too.
Thank you for your reply , hope you are able to get your current problem sorted. I am on heart meds to bring my heart function back up. So hope to get back on a treatment at some point.
