Hello
I've just been diagnosed with invasive ductal cancer grade 3 triple negative I'm so scared is anyone going through the same?
Hi everyone. I am doing well. Healing well, I still have some fluid there but seen my consultant yesterday and he is reluctant to drain it again he has asked to review it again in 2 weeks. Also my ct planning appointment for radiotherapy has been cancelled until I heal abit more. They do not have my results from my surgery yet so I am hoping I do not need it but if I do I do. I have also been started on my hormone meds. How are you harleybear xxx
Hey I’m getting there was admitted to hospital yesterday as they thought I might have had a blood clot . After a long night and lots of tests including a bloody CT scan at 3a.m it was concluded that I don’t . I then spiked a temperature. Anyway chemo went ahead today and I have to go back tomorrow for a blood transfusion . I am currently home trying to replace blood with red wine . On the plus side I have 3 more weeks of chemo then radiotherapy. Yay xxxxx
Trying to stay positive tonight. Had 3 cycles of FEC. Starting Docetaxal Cycle 4 tomorrow plus Herceptin injection. Nervous about sude effects. Started steroids today (8 seems a lot). Got a chesty cough, so Dr at chemo centre prescribed antibiotics today. I/we CAN do this!! Just hoping I get some sleep tonight. Jo x
Firstly well done for getting through FEC . Just remember keep your team notifies of side effects as they can help by altering doses etc . We can all do this . Big hugs lovely xxx
I always make notes after each chemo of side effects and take it with me. Jo x
So sorry you had such a rough night. Good luck with transfusion. Jo x
Hi Harleybear and all
I'm doing ok. I had an appointment with my oncologist yesterday and she was happy that all was as it should be so I don't have to see her anymore unless the cancer comes back which i hope it doesn't.
I hope all of you who are still having treatment don't have too many side effects afterwards.
Best wishes to all.
