Well today was long at hospital, waiting time was 1 and half hrs,not sure is one of machine s broke creating back log.No big reaction just yet, just getting a bit pinker each day lol
First of 5 sessions today. Everything went well apart from a 2 hour delay due to my machine being broken. The nurses were all really good though and a lovely one took me to a quiet room to chat, ask questions and really relieved my growing anxiety.
I also learned my targeted area was a bit more than I had expected , not just the boob but all upper left torso to collarbone and under the arm. Which surprised me as my nodes came back clear. They know best so I ain't complaining.
I managed fairly well with the breath holding although their counting seemed a lot slower than mine lol.
When I finally got in, they were very apologetic and everything that was going to be done was explained to me and they all introduced themselves and called me by my name making the experience much easier than I had expected.
My boob is very slightly pink and definitely a bit warmer than the other but only slightly.
I'm using Aveeno in-between sessions but nothing prior to as was advised it can increase the treatment strength. She did say that if I had to it could be wiped off just prior to treatment. Also gave me a good tip..to store the Aveeno in the fridge..nice and cooling to a hot booby apparently.
Feeling much better now I have the first day over. Still can't sleep though, I'm all over the place with that lol.
Take care all. X
