Here's a new thread for chemo discussions this June, as the existing threads were getting a little long.

Hi Bluebell, glad your surgery went well and you are on the road to recovery. Steady as you go. Hi Red Ruby. Thanks for asking... Saw plastic surgeon today. Yet again confirmed I will probably need radiotherapy, so need to have delayed reconstruction. Hey hoh. Post surgery Histology will inform radiotherapy, timing of reconstruction and if I can continue with phesgo or switch to Kadcyla. So... All I need now is a date for the mastectomy. Still seems a long haul but step by step making progress. Slowly feeling better almost 4 weeks after the chemo. Hang in in there all those having chemo, it does get better and you do get to the end. Take care all.
That is fantastic news ! So pleased for you xx
Hi Ruby
I'm so happy to hear your news. Congratulations.
Wishing you all the best for your surgery.
Best wishes

Thanks so much everyone.
Bluebell, I’m so pleased you’re recovering well, I hope it continues.
Iblodwin, I hope you keep feeling better. I’ll be five weeks post chemo on Thursday and I’m noticing that I’m starting to feel well again. My hands and feet are tingling and sore and my body aches, but I do have more energy. I just found out I’m anaemic so iron should help too.
Bellestar - you’re nearly there, I hope the last four rounds pass quickly for you
Lynne, how are you doing now? How’s your hair? Mine is growing but still thin on top!
Heart scan tomorrow and then I have to self isolate as best I can until surgery.
Take care everyone
Ruby xx
And Anne and Denise and Ista, hope you’re all ok! Have you stopped aching Anne? I’m really achey this past while even though I didn’t suffer too badly through chemo.
Ruby xx
Hi Ruby, my aches are starting to ease now 7 weeks post chemo and energy levels slowly picking up too Hands and feet seem to ache a bit more in the evening but nothing severe and I take 2 paracetamol at bedtime.
Like you my hair is still very sparse on top....should I be worried...I just don't know!
On that note has anyone seen any head coverings with a wee bit of bling/sparkles? I fancy one for evenings spent in company
Good luck with the scan Ruby, keeping fingers crossed for you.
Lynne xx
