Here's a new thread for chemo discussions this June, as the existing threads were getting a little long.
Please do let us know if you have any other threads you think would be useful to link here.
Fantastic news Ruby. Great stuff. Proves the chemo is working!!! Good luck with the surgery.

Delighted for you!

Hurray Ruby, that's great news – and very timely. I know you had a hard time and I'm really happy for you. Breathe! I'm about to start the 8th cycle (4 weekly sessions left) and at that point I think everyone hits where you're tired and run down and it still feels endless but you're also starting to worry about whether it's working. So THANK YOU. It means a lot to hear from people who've got to the light at the end of the tunnel, and it's always fantastic to hear good news
Great news Ruby. Encouraging for everyone to hear that chemo does work.
I’m healing well after surgery. No infection or seroma. Just a bit of numbness under the arm.

Wishing you all peace and calm in the storm...with a helping of laughter and joy to bring healing ️
Hi Ista,
That was a long day! You seem to have a lot on.
How are you managing with the Kadcyla? I’m just having my first round which is being infused over 90 minutes. Next time will be 30 mins, all going well. I’m not getting any additional medications for SEs!
Post surgery pathology showed a very good response to chemo with only a ‘tiny’ bit of residual disease. Lymph nodes were clear although scarring indicated that 5 out of 6 had been cancerous. Anyway that’s the reason I’ve been switched from Herceptins to Kadcyla (for 11 rounds).
Hope you’re feeling OK.

Hi Ruby
Fantastic news makes all the pain of SE worthwhile.
Take care
