Here's a new thread for chemo discussions this June, as the existing threads were getting a little long.
Please do let us know if you have any other threads you think would be useful to link here.
I've been much more achey post chemo than at any point during it. But it's a very bearable achiness if that makes sense!
Hi Lynne,
Yes, I’m the same with aching hands and feet at night and I gradually get more achey through the day.
Ive done lots of eBay scarf shopping and have a lovely black one with bright pink flowers and a dark blue one with stars that I use for feeling dressed up. I also have a lovely satin one which feels quite posh!

Ah eBay!! I haven't shopped anywhere but Amazon for months lol
Thanks Anne, no ill effects from the Kadcyla so far. Hope that reassures anyone else who may have to start it.
Thanks for the good wishes Iblodwin, Daisy53 and everyone else.
Hope all goes well with your surgery Ruby.
My hair is starting to come back, just a fuzz at the moment. The Kadcyla shouldn’t make it fall out again, hopefully, which is a bonus!

Hi ruby

Anne Xx
Hi Diamondgirl, will you let us know. I don't even know when or if I am due to see my oncologist again! I did ask my BCN when I finally got to speak to her but she just said "everyone is different", I find this to be her standard answer to be honest.
I cut the grass today and did some weeding for the first time post chemo and am very achey tonight! The grass had gotten rather long as my husband has been busy with other jobs so it took some effort!
Lynne
I was told today by physio on phone that the aches muscles and joints will probably gradually recover “it’s early days” which is just frustrating.
I’ve made it back to gym, starting slowly, but like you Lynne and Anne find I’m more achey post chemo…but the rest of me feels good so I’m taking paracetamol when needed and enjoying post chemo life as best I can.
No real joy today with NhS physio telephone consultation…F2F might happen but physio wasn’t really very positive about being able to help shoulder issue. I’d had acupuncture before which really helped but “we’re not really doing that because of COVID”
Let us know how you get on Anne, I think we get more info/help on here than elsewhere!
Hope everyone in the midst of chemo is coping with SE and getting through it…day at a time
