  • Sorry,, I can't help but I noticed your comment had dropped to page 2 so this comment will bump it up again. Perhaps try asking your question in the February Chemo Treatment thread,

  • Hi  welcome this is a link to a shopping list and hints for chemo you may find some info on there

Best advice I had was you don't need expensive brands for bath/ shower I used Dove %parabens creme . I stuck with my good old fashioned Nivea cream for face after using water wipes no soap . I continued to use Vaseline intensive care for my dehydrating skin on arms / legs .

one thing to look out for is protection for your nails they get damaged and you can lose them .

For hair either a specialist shampoo for thinning hair or parabens free mild one . Child's soft toothbrush ,mild toothpaste or something like corodryl . I started using mouthwash prior to chemo as I was told that EC would most likely result in ulcers .

I'm sure will come along to help .

If you you go on the thread for  February chemo you'll find other ladies who have either just started or been on chemo for a short while and have info for you .

One step at a time and ...Breathe !

Hi, so I'm not having chemo yet but I've been using a lot on non chemical toiletries for a while now and I get mine from natural spa supplies. I use aluim deodorant crystal and thanka powder is really nice for your face. I also only wash with clay. Theres loads of how too videos on there as well.

Hope your chemo goes well xx
