My BC surgery (lumpectomy and lymph nodes) is booked in for 16th December, which happens to be 80 miles away from my home. We are also desperate to see our mother for Christmas who lives about 230 miles away and cannot travel herself. We haven't seen her since February.

Are there any recommendations or tips for travelling in comfort post surgery please? My husband will be driving.

    Hi,

Hope all goes well for your op.I

I had same op and would recommend V pillow and also small soft childs travel pillows to support boob in various ways,I use two one to lift my head as well so arm can slip under pillow, also depending on the side of op a seat belt shoulder loop mover so you don't have to hold it away from you, especially as you are traveling so far

    Stay Safex
