I wonder if someone is able to help me or have been through a similar situation?
I had my breast cancer removed in September 2017, through another health issue I was not able to have chemotherapy and started on radiopharapy in January 2018.
I started on letrizole December 2017 but I was unable to tolerate the side effects, and therefore started anastrozole March 2019. This was better but recently I have found the side effects increase difficult to deal with, mainly burn pain in my fingers and hands, also joint pain especially in my knees which were not good before
I have spoken to my oncology nurse who has suggested to stop anastrozole for 8 weeks to see if the the pain reduces. She didn't hold out much hope of getting support from rhuematology.
I have decided to do as she suggested, but I have been feeling low at the way my body is aching and I'm finding it difficult to step up a kerb.
