I live in Cardiff, was diagnosed in 2017 and treated with chemotherapy, radiation, herceptin, and now on letrozole and ramipril. I am wondering if it was safe for me to see my grandchildren and have them on weekends again. All 3 go to primary school and no cases have been detected in their schools. My overall health is good. Any opinions would be appreciated please
Dear
I was diagnosed in January 2018. I have not been told to isolate or to protect myself . The best person to advice you would be your GP , i would just log a call with the receptionist and your GP or Practice nurse will give you a call back .
My son lives in Cardiff . We managed down in July , lovely city .
so get on the phone to GP and I’m sure you will be able to see your grandchildren soon .
take care
love Ruby Rose
I agree you should speak to your medical team Gp or nurse .
I'm shielded so have official letters but I'm still on Herceptin til Jan and am type 2 diabetic both of which put me in medically vulnerable list . As far as I'm aware your drugs do not make you more vulnerable to Covid .
Im not sure how Welsh guidance differs so it is your team who can supply answers .
hope you see grandchildren soon .
Thank you Ruby Rose. Ive logged a call and awaiting call back xxTake carex
