Hi, I have just got back from Guys with the results of my Oncotype DX Test results. I have only got one lot of results back (apparently they do a separate test on each tumour) The result I got today was for the larger tumour and I am happy to say the result came back at 18. My Oncologist said that anything under 25 was good! She is expecting the results back any day on the second tumour but is positive that this will be the same result but they check both just to be on the safe side.
My treatment plan is now 4 weeks Radiotherapy and Tamoxifen for 10 years, but may be changed to a different drug after 5 years. Radiotherapy she hopes will start next week. I am 53 pre menopausal and results of my biopsies were:- Grade 2 Er + Pr+ Her2 neg = tumour sizes 2.8mm and 1.1mm. (I have added this and know it is duplicated but anyone looking for information first time has info in one place). I would like to add I found this site a life saver! and the information on here helped me so much as did the replies to my posts. I am not going anywhere I will still be here as next step is the radiotherapy, and no doubt I will be reading all info in respect of this.
