    Hi Redhead65

Sorry you have to join this group but I will say everyone on here are very supportive. Firstly I would like to let you know you will cope as you are stronger than what you think. The hardest part is waiting on all the results. Once these are back a plan of action will be put in place and you can then move forward. I am not saying it's an easy journey but it is doable. You can do this. Any questions you have whether it be in the day or night there is always someone on here, even if you need to rant. I

Hope this helps and try to remain positive as that is great medicine.

  • Hi

I'm sorry you find yourself here due to having been diagnosed, but on the other hand, at least you have found us here in order to get the support to cope.

It is most definitely a surreal feeling when you are told you have cancer isn't it?  However, there is an awful lot more to it than just 'having cancer'.  It really depends on the type (ER+/ PR+, triple negative, HER2 etc) and the size /grade of cancer you have.  If you can provide us with some more information you will find many, many of us who have been through the treatment and survived and will be able to share their story with you of how they felt the same but how they DID cope.

The waiting for your treatment plan is always the worst (everyone agrees on this) and once you know what you are facing you will find that you will feel an awful lot better mentally.

    Kindest wishes,

    Hi

    Warm welcome from us too.....

Everyone here will recognise the way you are feeling from when they got 'the news' as well.... It is so totally normal but slowly the the mental fog clears and once you get a treatment plan it will give you something to focus on.

If you have any questions fire away, we're all here to help. The only stupid question is the one that isn't asked Thumbsup

J was diagnosed 8 years ago so be reassured this can be a rocky road but is do'able.

    Hugs, G n' J
