Hi All,
Was just setting off to the hospital this afternoon for my injection/scan as I'm going in tomorrow for my sentinel node removal.
Next minute the cat trots in and drops a field mouse on the carpet in front of me, it ran behind all the furniture during a mad chase to save it and catch the cat.
Came home later to try and find it and it took having to move all the furniture. Found it eventually and it's unharmed and back out in the garden now bless. They say cats are aware of their owners suffering cancer but thats NOT the sort of care I wanted.
Hahahaha - I have to agree with Ruby Rose, your kitty brought you a present
They do like to pick there moments though, unless...... this was Lucky Pants in disguise. I reckon it was one of Lucky Pants friends just making sure you are okay and wanting to distract your mind.
So pleased little mouse was un-hurt and was able to be released - s/he needs to be thinking about hibernating - unless they just slow down ... that sounds like me, mind you, I have nearly stopped xxx
Cats can be so thoughtful (!!) when you most need it. Let's hope the wee vermin lives a long life, away from your cats mouth.
I think I have a similar issue under my dishwasher (mouse on stairs which as I couldn't catch slowly descended the stairs and now is either rotting or lives there).
Sam
