Hi all,
Finished my chemo 7 months ago (EC/Docetaxel changed to Paclitaxel due to severe bone pain). Gradually fingertips/nails have gotten sore and skin peeling. Going to have acupuncture for peripheral neuropathy, but wanted to share something with you.
My sister got me some Leighton Denny "Renovate" cream for my nails and in 5 days my skin is no longer peeling on my fingertips. My nails are already much improved and my fingers are no longer really sore. At just over £10 for a tiny tube, it is not cheap, but only need v small amount so should last months. I can't believe the difference it has made and although my fingertips remain sore and a bit numb in places, the improvement is remarkable.
Just wanted to share with anyone else experiencing similar problems. I don't have shares in the company, by the way.
Gail xx
