Hi, I had a lumpectomy and sentinel node biopsy on 17th December. It is all healing well but yesterday I woke up with a large lump at the site of the node biopsy. Anyone else had any experience of this? Thanks in advance.
Hi December19 welcome to the forum and so glad that at least the surgery is past for you.
This could be a seroma which is collection of blood under the skin and can happen after surgery. I would be tempted to give the Breast service a call or the GP in the am and get someone to have a look at that for you as they do sometimes need drained but yours may not and may go away by itself. Either way it best to get someone to take a look for you and re-assure you.
